Who we are

This policy explains how Clarieo LLC ("Clarieo", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through clarieo.com. Clarieo is based in California, United States, with a team working around the world.

If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email contact@clarieo.com or call +1 (909) 616-1993.

What we collect

We collect information in these ways:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, company, website, the services you are interested in and your message.
  • AI visibility check: your website address, your email address and how you heard about us.
  • Guides and reports: your email address, so we can send you the download link, or let you know when a new guide or report is ready.
  • Booking a call: when you book through Cal.com, Cal.com collects the details you enter on its booking page and shares them with us so we can hold the call.
  • Emails and calls: anything you choose to send us by email or tell us on a call.
  • Marketing source: when you submit a form, we attach how you found us (for example the campaign link you clicked), the page you arrived on and the page you came from.
  • Technical information: when you submit a form, your IP address is used briefly to block spam and limit repeated submissions.
  • Performance data: we use Vercel Speed Insights to measure how quickly our pages load. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and talk about how we can help.
  • To run your free AI visibility check and send you the results.
  • To send you the guides and reports you request.
  • To book, prepare for and follow up on calls.
  • To send a confirmation email when you submit a form.
  • To understand which channels bring us enquiries, so we can improve our marketing.
  • To protect our website and forms from spam and abuse.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not make decisions about you using automated processing.

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on these legal bases: our legitimate interests in replying to enquiries, running and improving our business and keeping our website secure; taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; complying with our legal obligations; and your consent, where we ask for it.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers that help us run Clarieo, and only as much as they need:

  • Vercel, which hosts our website and measures page speed.
  • Google Workspace, which sends the emails our forms trigger.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from spam.
  • Upstash, which stores short-lived counters that limit repeated form submissions.
  • Cal.com, which handles call bookings.
  • Our email and productivity providers, which store the emails we receive.
  • Members of our team who work on your enquiry or project.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

International transfers

Clarieo is based in the United States and our team works from several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. When we transfer information, we take steps to make sure it stays protected, including using providers that offer appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and AI visibility check requests: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
  • Client information: for as long as we work together, and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for tax records.
  • Spam protection counters: about one hour.
  • Marketing source details stored in your browser: until you close the browser tab.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete or correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To use any of these rights, email contact@clarieo.com. We will reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our Cookie Policy explains the small amount of browser storage our website uses.

Children

Our website and services are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and limited access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will make that clear on this page.
